What is thermography?
Thermography, also known as infrared imaging, reveals temperature differences on material surfaces. It helps identify patterns that may be associated with heat loss, moisture, water or air infiltration, and abnormal electrical heating. Findings are interpreted alongside building conditions and any necessary additional checks. For insurer-related requests, we define the inspection scope, required qualifications and deliverables based on the written requirements for the project.

Does thermography tell the whole story?
No. Thermography is a powerful tool, but it is not sufficient to explain all anomalies. We use complementary tools: pin and surface moisture meters, borescope, ambient condition instruments, and various concrete slab moisture testing methods. The Axiom methodology cross-references this data with thermal imaging and visual inspection to better understand the probable origin of problems.
